Crowd favourites, Valkenswaard United, return for another GCL season in 2024. 2023 saw a solid 9th place finish in the GCL Championship, and an impressive 2nd place finish in the mighty GCL Super Cup Final, saw Valkenswaard United add another impressive page into their history book. All eyes will be on the team in 2024 with heroes of the sport joined by emerging talent as they look to chase down another Championship title. Returning to the team, Marcus Ehning, Edwina Tops-Alexander, John Whitaker, Oliver Lazarus and Gilles Thomas are joined by a fresh face and U25 rider, Jack Ryan, in his debut season as part of the GCL team series. MID-SEASON UPDATE: Leonie Böckmann joins the team as the new U25 rider in place of Jack Ryan, marking her debut in the GCL series.

Valkenswaard United holds the title for the broadest age span of riders, showcasing talent across generations and countries in the unique Global Champions League team competition. At the more experienced end of the spectrum, the ledgendary John Whitaker (GBR) takes his place on the team for this debut year. Outstanding youngster Bertram Allen (IRL) is on the squad with the talented young U25 rider Emily Moffitt (USA) &nbsp;and Eduardo Menezes (BRA) to complete this energetic and enthusiastic line up of star riders.&nbsp;

Reiging Champions Valkenswaard United will be looking for a repeat of their debut success, after the team made history by taking the inaugural GCL Championship crown. This season will see star striker Bertram Allen (IRL) return alongside top Italian athlete Alberto Zorzi (ITA). New to the squad will be the legendary Marcus Ehning (GER), Janika Sprunger (SUI) and U25 rider Sanne Thijssen (NED).&nbsp;

New to the squad will be experienced Dutch rider Jur Vrieling (NED) and U25 talent Maruice Tebbel (GER). Valkenswaard United are fielding a formindable line-up in 2020, in a bid to replicate their 2016 success again in the 2020 season in the GCL series. Star strikers Alberto Zorzi (ITA), Marcus Ehning (GER), Bertram Allen (IRL) return to the team from the 2019 line-up. Superstar rider Edwina Tops-Alexander (AUS) joins them for the new season, alongside Swedish campaigner Peder Fredricson (SWE) and Roberto Previtali (ITA).&nbsp;

Valkenswaard United are fielding a formindable line-up in 2021, in a bid to replicate their 2016 success again in the 2021 season in the GCL series.
