Global Champions has today announced the calendar for the 2024 Longines Global Champions Tour and GCL team series. The 2024 season promises to be a heart-pounding journey across three continents, with 16 iconic destinations featuring the return of fan favorites like Shanghai and a spectacular new destination in Rabat, Morocco.
The electrifying 2024 LGCT season will kick off from 29 February with the season opener taking place in Doha. An adrenaline-filled year follows, with the Championship Race full steam ahead through to the Finale kicking off on 20 November with the GC Playoffs in Riyadh.
Heading to Miami Beach (03-06 April) and Mexico City (11-14 April) before the tour returns to Shanghai for the first time in four years at a brand new stadium of Shanghai Juss International Equestrian Center. Located at the Expo Park in the Pudong New Area, the center is China's first permanent professional equestrian competition venue.
When returning from China the European tour kicks off in Madrid from 17-19 May. Covering 14 countries, fans will be able to enjoy an array of destinations from the vibrant streets of Paris to the historic charm of Rome, the global circuit is set to captivate a worldwide audience for the 18th LGCT season. Prepare for an international journey like no other as Longines Global Champions Tour and GCL promises to be even more spectacular with world-class venues meticulously chosen for their unique and iconic capital cities, as well as breathtaking Riviera destinations.
