Longines Global Champions Tour Returns to Vienna in 2025 at the Iconic Schönbrunn Palace

The prestigious Longines Global Champions Tour is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated return to Vienna in 2025, marking a spectacular comeback to the Austrian capital after nearly a decade. This exciting event will take place at a brand new venue, the stunning Schönbrunn Palace, from 26th to 28th September 2025, and will continue annually through a newly signed five-year deal, running from 2025 to 2029.

Vienna, a city renowned for its rich history and cultural heritage, last hosted the Longines Global Champions Tour in 2016. The return of the world’s premier show jumping competition to this majestic city is set to captivate equestrian enthusiasts and sports fans alike.

The Schönbrunn Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Austria's most visited attractions, will serve as the breathtaking backdrop for this elite sporting event. Known for its baroque architecture and exquisite gardens, the palace offers a setting of unparalleled elegance and grandeur, perfectly complementing the high-caliber competition that the Longines Global Champions Tour and GCL team series is known for.

REMUS Innovation's CEO Stephan Zöchling said: "“In addition to the thrilling show jumping action, visitors will also be treated to an exciting surrounding program. This will include a concert by the enchanting Deutschmeister Band at the Longines Global Champions Tour of Vienna, where classical music and history will come alive. Of course, the Schönbrunn palace is itself a cultural highlight for visitors to enjoy and explore. The entire social and supporting program will offer a wide range of phantastic Austrian legacies.”"
