Riyadh
The word Riyadh comes from the Arabic word Rawdah which means ‘Gardens’ or ‘Meadows’ due to the immense richness of lush green gardens in the area. As well as being recognized as the capital, Riyadh is considered the center of culture and heritage of Saudi Arabia with its various historic local destinations.
Riyadh experienced a rapid transformation from being a small desert village to a modern city with towering skyscrapers. The metropolis is at the center of the Arabian Peninsula, an important trade route that consists of a fusion and diversity of different cultures and traditions.
With various cultural activities and events taking place and being an economic center of the gulf and the Middle East, Riyadh will be the new destination for the GC Playoffs!
