Ramatuelle/Saint Tropez is situated on the French Riviera, 100 kilometres (62 miles) west of Nice in the Var department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of Occitania, Southern France. The city is well known for the Hôtel Byblos and for Les Caves du Roy, a member of the Leading Hotels of the World, whose inauguration with Brigitte Bardot and Gunter Sachs in 1967 was an international event.
