Basel Cosmopolitans

The Basel Cosmopolitans make their highly anticipated debut in the 2025 GCL, bringing together a stellar mix of experience and emerging talent

Led by team manager Andreas Schou they are out in full force including Denmark’s Zascha Nygaard Lill who brings tactical expertise and consistency. Joining them is Brazil’s Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and Ireland's Michael Duffy both proven powerhouses in the GCL arena, alongside Germany’s Jana Wargers whos known for her versatility and skill.

The team’s U25 rider, Géraldine Straumann, adds fresh energy and promise, representing the next generation of elite show jumping. With a blend of seasoned champions and rising stars, the Basel Cosmopolitans are set to be strong contenders in their inaugural season.
