Christian Ahlmann

Christian took up riding aged 11 inspired by his friends' participation and competition. Christian comes from a family of horsemen - his brother Dirk and father George were both also equestrian athletes. His international debut was at the European Championships in 1989, aged just 15. In December 2012, Christian reached World Number One in the show jumping world ranking for the first time in his career. With many LGCT Grand Prix wins to name, his most iconic has to be in 2013 winning his home LGCT Grand Prix in Hamburg on Codex One.
