Michael Pender

Irishman Michael Pender has had a successful early career, with many successes especially with young horses - he has won medals at many World Breeding Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken, Belgium. He was also named the 2016 Irish Field Junior Show Jumper of the Year, and in 2019, was the youngest ever winner of the Hickstead Derby, achieving that feat at the age of 19. He competes in the GCL Team Competition for the first time in 2020.
