Olivier Philippaerts

Olivier Philippaeets is a Belgian showjumper with strong family roots in the sport. He is the son of the Belgian showjumping star Ludo Philippaerts and his twin brother Nicola also show jumps at the top level. Olivier started riding at age five and joined a pony club at age 12. He was a very successful Young Rider, winning three European medals. He became the youngest rider to win the Spruce Meadows Grand Prix event in Calgary, Canada, with his victory there in 2012.
