The Championship is intensifying as riders and teams battle it out for maximum points in the LGCT and GCL Championship races. Max Kühner has maintained his spot at the top of the podium and the Cannes Stars powered by Iron Dames have extended their commanding lead.

Austria’s Max Kühner has proved untouchable as he remains in the top spot of the LGCT Championship leaderboard. Following a series of podium finishes this season, Kühner maintains the Championship lead with 208 points. Andreas Schou of Denmark has held on to his position in second place, just 16 points off the lead with 192 points. Maikel van der Vleuten has jumped into third place following the LGCT of Riesenbeck, overtaking Spain’s Eduardo Alvarez Aznar. The Dutch rider sits comfortably in third, with 183 points.

The Cannes Stars powered by Iron Dames have cemented their status as the powerhouse team of the season following their win in the GCL of Riesenbeck. The ironclad team sits in first place with 229 points, widening the gap to second place Stockholm Hearts powered by H&M We Love Horses. The Stockholm Hearts remain steady in second place with 203 points.

Last weekend saw Riesenbeck International powered by Kingsland Equestrian claim third place in the GCL of Riesenbeck, enough to propel the team onto the Championship podium and tie with the Doha Falcons for third place in the 2024 Championship race. The pressure is on as the teams will be looking to secure their place on the podium in London and fend off the Prague Lions powered by Czech Equestrian Team, who sit just 10 points off of the podium.

All eyes now turn to London for the twelfth stage of the 2024 tour.
