The Longines Global Champions Tour Celebrates the Best of British in London

The Longines Global Champions Tour heads to London August 16-18 for the twelfth stage of the 2024 tour where the world’s best riders will be competing for top honours. Beyond the competition, the LGCT of London offers a unique cocktail of unparalleled hospitality and a stellar line up of entertainment.

The LGCT of London features a vibrant village that truly celebrates the best of British. The sprawling shopping village features a host of iconic British brands. Offering something for everyone, from specialized equestrian equipment to luxe lifestyle pieces, the shopping village is not to be missed. The village is also set to feature gourmet British food and drink options for a true taste of British culture.

Besides epic show jumping rounds, thrilling performances of another kind will be showcased in the arena at the LGCT of London, featuring the Knights of Middle England and British Agility. The Knights of Middle England, a professional team of talented actors, trick riders, stuntmen and performers, will be taking to the arena for a thrilling stunt display. This adrenaline filled performance will leave you on the edge of your seat with an epic soundtrack and their beautiful specially trained horses. Outside of the arena, two knights and their horses will parade through the village. Fans can have a photo taken with the knights, or visit the Knights of Middle England stand in the village to try your hand at trick riding or side saddle with wooden horses.

British Agility will take to the arena as well. Witness Britain's best agility dogs as they navigate challenging obstacle courses with seamless coordination and jaw-dropping agility. From high-speed sprints to intricate maneuvers, every moment is packed with excitement and skill, showcasing the peak of canine athleticism.

The LGCT of London will also feature meet and greets with some of the biggest names in equestrian sport. Some of Britain's best riders will host an autograph signing, allowing fans to meet their equestrian heroes in person. Esme Higgs, also known as This_Esme, will be there on Saturday for a meet and greet at 12:30pm.

But let’s not forget about the little ones! The village at LGCT London will feature a Kid’s Corner offering entertainment for even the youngest of fans. Each day will feature Jolly Jumps, giving the sports youngest fans their chance to have a go at jumping in London.
